I’ve been passionate about sport all my life and an active participant over the years, most significantly in football, tennis, skiing and cycling. As I’ve got older and experienced different injuries and changes in my own biomechanics, my training as a sports massage therapist and personal trainer has enabled me to adapt the approach to my own fitness programme to make sure that exercise still has a positive benefit for me. Since hitting 50 I’ve cycled from London to Paris and taken part in the 100 mile ‘Ride London’ event, raising money for Cancer Research.

After 25+ years in corporate life I felt it was time for a change in direction to pursue a more rewarding career, using my training to develop programmes and treatments which benefit people either in a corporate environment or their private lives to stay fitter for longer.

I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach. With massage, bespoke treatment is essential to ensure that specific conditions are treated appropriately to relieve symptoms and generate positive benefits. Likewise with my approach to PT – I always aim to ensure that each training client works towards their own fitness goals performing exercise that is appropriate and has measurable progressions.

I have a BTEC level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Diploma from the London School of Sports Massage and have been a member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage since 2006.

I also hold a City & Guilds level 3 Certificate in Personal Training from Future Fit Training, the UK’s leading provider of personal training and nutritionist courses.

Serena Dodd

Availability: Any time

Hi, my name is Serena and I am a Certified Life and Weight Coach.

I used to run an Events Business and organised events globally from elite private dinners, to large scale public events for Formula 1 and the 2012 London Olympics. I share this with you only to give you an idea of my background which has given me first-hand experience in the often overwhelming nature of everyday life. Whether that be a busy office environment, with tight deadlines and / or the lack of a life/family balance.

The type of coaching I do varies from person to person but fundamentally I help you get yourself out of your rut. Whether you are a:

  • Senior leader looking to go to the next level
  • Future leader looking to establish your potential
  • Professional coming back into the workplace after a hiatus (maternity leave / sabbatical)
  • Professional looking to get more out of your work and life
  • Business owner with teething problems and motivation
  • Profession that has lost passion of the job and personal life
  • Professional that has lost the ability to create personal goals and stick with them (weight loss, financial, family, etc)

I will work with you to bring you out of the monotony of the daily grind and together we will start to regain the passion for a more fulfilling, exciting and purpose-driven life.

What is Life Coaching and how will it benefit me?

Put simply, a life coach is someone who can help you gain perspective on your life and mind.

Just in the same way you train your body through exercise to become fitter, life coaching does exactly the same with the mind. The more you exercise how to think with purpose the healthier your mind will become and you will start living the life you always wanted, on purpose.

Coaching your mind will help you start lifting those barriers that you have created for yourself throughout the years and learning how to manage it will allow you to see what possibilities are available to you.

Examples of specific areas of your life that this can benefit you:

  • Goal work – creating the life you want with purposeful action
  • Weight Loss
  • Forging better/ stronger relationships – collogues, bosses, team members, partners, family, friends.
  • Managing a negative/ unproductive mindset
  • Taking back control of your life – not feeling like a victim
  • Building confidence
  • Public Speaking
  • Managing a team

I get to know who my clients truly are through a direct and compassionate basis – helping you achieve the results that are going to change your life FOREVER.

Eleanor Bhasin

Availability: Any time

Eleanor underwent comprehensive and professional training with the College of Cranio Sacral Therapy (CCST) NW London; under close supervision and tuition of the highly regarded founder of the CCST, Thomas Attlee DO., RCST, teacher, lecturer and author. Eleanor graduated from the CCST in July 2016.

Eleanor was drawn to holistic and complementary therapy in 2001, studying Three In One Concepts Advanced Kinesiology.  Eleanor continues to enhance her skill and training, constantly exploring a range of modalities.  These include Equine CST, ThetaHealing®, Crystal Therapy, Rahanni Celestial Healing and most recently Bioenergetic Wellness which uses pulsed electro-magnetic frequencies for targeted pain relief, emotional stress release, cellulite reduction or anti-ageing Shungite facial.

WHAT IS CRANIO-SACRAL THERAPY (CST)?

“When we rest our hands very lightly on the body and engage on a subtle level, we can feel rhythmic motion being expressed throughout the body, as if the whole body were gently breathing – not just the usual breathing of the lungs, but a more gentle, subtle, rhythmic motion”. CCST

Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the Cranio-Sacral system.   An imbalance or dysfunction in this system can cause sensory, motor and or neurological disabilities or chronic pain.  Cranio-Sacral Therapy releases restrictions in this system to improve its function.

The Cranio-Sacral System consists of the membranes and fluids that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, as well as the attached bones.  These membranes extend from the bones of the skull, face and mouth (which make up the cranium) and down the spine to the sacrum (tailbone area).

What to expect:

Your first appointment will be relaxed and informal.  I will be taking notes (a case history) and discussing the areas of concern you have.  The case history also allows me to monitor your progress.   Your contact details and confidential information are kept secure and off site between treatments.

Cranio-Sacral treatment is generally carried out with the patient lying down, fully clothed, in a quiet and peaceful environment. Treatment involves a very gentle touch of the practitioner’s hands. This light contact may be taken up on the Cranium (head) the Sacrum (tail-bone) the feet, the trunk, or any other part of the body as appropriate. Treatment is generally experienced as a profound relaxation and it is not uncommon for clients to fall asleep during their treatment.

I will ask that you remove earrings, belts and hair grips or ties. I will also ask that you remove and completely silence electronic watches, or phones during your treatment.

NB one question I will ask during your CST consultation will be, “What knowledge if any do you have relating to your birth”?  For example, was your birth natural and free of any complication? Was there an extended labour? Was an epidural injection given or gas and air? Were forceps or a suction device used? Was it a Caesarean/C-section delivery?

It’s helpful to have this background information, as it can help to understand why a physical, psychological or neurological symptom has occurred or is persistent.   If you don’t happen to have this information, it will not impede the level of help and support I can offer.

Consultation and treatment – 1.5 hours       £65

Follow up treatment – 1 hour       £55

CST Still Point  – 45 minutes       £50
